Jules Kounde is at right-back. I believe he is a weak link in that position. Why is he there?
Griezmann and Dembele have been defensively helping out much more than Mbappe, Giroud and Rabiot
France and England will be an interesting game. Both Deschamp and Southgate are modern but defensive minded coaches that likes a quick counter attack,
both teams have solid and hardworking midfield, explosive creative wingers who are not afraid to take players on, and an experienced striker up top who is dominant in the air, is able to link up play and create for other team mates. It really could go eitherway.
Lloris played very well in his last outing VS Poland, IMO. A couple of really nice saves in the first half.

Being negative against a better team isn't a good idea. Press them and force errors and you might get a result if not they'd pick you apart.

Kamil Grosicki caused a lot of problems to Kounde or whoever it was on the right side of the French defense. No offense to the old Hull work horse winger but he's 5 years past his peak.
I think England are favorites in the QF. The semi is probably a tougher task for England, but even Spain are hoping French would pull an upset against England. The Spanish side would destroy France in the midfield. Then again Spain are capable of crumbling before they get there too.

Frances weaknesses= lack of defensive aggression, low crosses on the transition and they lack a little variation in attack. All big advantages for England. 🎄

First of all I don’t understand why dembele who’s a winger has to help a defender do their own job and second of all dembele is surprisingly very solid as a defender.
France's biggest weakness is depth imo. Alright so other teams have worse depth but in terms of the favourites Brazil can put out a "weak" line-up with Ederson Alves Militao Bremer Telles Fabinho Fred Martinelli Rodrygo Antony and Jesus.
Where as France's "weak" line-up is Mandanda Disasi Varane Konate Camavinga (LB) Fofana Tchouameni Veretout Coman Muani and Guendouzi (LW). Even England have better depth: Ramsdale White (injured) Coady Dier Trippier Phillips Maddison Gallagher Rashford Wilson Sterling

The giroud scissor kick shouldn't have been called off. It was Szczesny mistake, and no foul was committed by any French player. He was hurt but it was his own mistake and the referee has not right stopping play, in the middle of a French attack.
